Greenvale School Council

School Council(2)

Our School Council consists of 8 councillors, two elected from every class in Year 1 and Year 2. Each of these children were elected by their classmates to represent them in the council meetings. We hold these meetings twice a term. We report back to the class on the weeks in-between and discuss anything that they want taking to the council. Each class has a suggestion book which the councillors bring to the meetings.

The council deal with many different issues ranging from what games should be allowed on the playground to rewards and school dinners.

2019-20

This year, we are once again very excited to be responsible for 6 non-uniform days this year.

We took a vote on what the themes could be for each of the 6 days.

We will be responsible for collecting in the £1 donations from our friends for the non-uniform days.

This year, the money will be donated to a charity for children who need support. We will vote on which charity to support.
