Newsletter Term 5 - 22nd May 2026

Dear Parents and Carers,

As we come to the end of another busy and successful term, we would like to take a moment to reflect on some of the fantastic activities and achievements across the school.

This term, our pupils have been busy as usual! Reception and Year 4 enjoyed important road safety sessions, helping them to build awareness and confidence when travelling safely. Our Reception children also participated in a healthy eating workshop, delivered by our catering company, vast amounts of fruit and vegetables were tried!

We were delighted to welcome parents to our Behaviour and Routines Coffee Morning. Thank you to everyone who attended , we hope you found it useful.

We came together for the Mini Marathon, which was a wonderful event filled with determination and team spirit. We are very proud of all the children who took part.

Our Year 5 pupils have also begun their journey towards the next stage of their education, as we have started to share information and support them in preparing for secondary school transition. We will continue to guide and support them through this exciting time! Our first time doing it!

We finished the term on a high with our much-loved Elmer Day celebration, which brought colour, creativity and a strong sense of community spirit throughout the school.

Please  take a moment to check the list of upcoming dates for important information about next term.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all parents and carers for your continued support—it truly makes a difference to your children’s success and wellbeing.

We wish you all a safe, restful and enjoyable break, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back next term - the last one of the year!

Yours sincerely,

Mrs Powlesland

Acting Headteacher

Public Health Survey for Children & Young People for Medway

Medway Council would like to invite children and young people living in Medway to take part in an important Public Health survey.

Their views and experiences matter. By sharing their thoughts, they can help us better understand what our young residents know about public health, what supports health and wellbeing locally and what could be improved for children and young people in our communities.

We have two surveys, one for children aged 6 – 11 years and another for children aged 12-18 years.

The surveys are:

  • Quick and easy to complete
  • Confidential and anonymous
  • Open to children and young people in Medway

There will be an option to take part in a prize draw to win one of twenty £10 Amazon vouchers at the end of the survey.

By taking part, you will be helping to shape future services, support, and opportunities for young people across Medway.

?? Take part here: Primary Age Survey

?? Take part here: Secondary Age Survey

If you are a parent, carer, or professional, we would really appreciate you sharing this survey with children and young people you know.

The survey will close on Friday 19th June 2026,  so please take a few minutes to have your say.

Thank you for helping us make Medway a healthier place for all children and young people.
