We have had a lovely spring term! The children have taken part in book week, where they were able to bring a book to life called 'catch a star', through a dance workshop. This was thoroughly enjoyed by all the children.
Following book week, we had an amazing visit from a real author, who spoke to the children about her stories and what inspired her to write.
Maths week saw the children wearing their numbers on tee-shirts and learning about all the different ways to use numbers at school, home and the environment.
The school had an exciting visit from the Mayor, who visited all the classrooms and spoke to the children about the job of being a mayor. The children were able to ask her lots of questions including what she did to help people!
Finally, I want to say a 'BIG' thank you to all those who attended parents evening. Attendance at parents' evening is so very important, so that you are able to find out where your child is academically and how you can help them at home. It is also a great opportunity to discuss any worries you may have.
Have a really super Easter, have fun and of course eat lots of chocolate.
